Shake off the November darkness as DJ COMBO takes over Ravintola Metsähovi and owns the dance floor! 🔥
Who is COMBO and what's coming?
COMBO started his DJ career back in 1998 at youth centers as an apprentice to Mikko "PELTSI" Peltola when he was only 14 years old.
"Back then, we were spinning vinyl on Technics 1200mk2 turntables and playing CDs on Denon dual deck players," he laughs, reminiscing about those nostalgic days.
At 18, he transitioned to nightclub DJing, playing mainstream club music, and to this day, you can still find him behind the decks every single weekend, all year round.
"Nowadays, we play digitally using a controller," he notes.
COMBO started organizing 90s parties years ago and brings a wealth of solid experience to pulling them off.
His music collection is remarkably extensive, featuring all the original 90s CD singles that he still hauls to his gigs in traditional metal cases.
Generally, his 90s and millennium parties are put together with a fully analog, old-school vibe—spinning vinyl or CD singles just like back in the day, with no computers involved.
For these 90s parties, COMBO encourages as many guests as possible to dress up according to the theme, just like he does.
If you're craving a proper 90s party for your Saturday night, packed with nostalgia and authentic 90s club atmosphere, you definitely don't want to miss this night. 🪩

VAPAA PÄÄSY
Aamuisin, Piha ilman sadettajaa, Tavallaan jokainen on surullinen, Harri, Rakastele mua… Zen Café's songs are part of the soundtrack to many Finns' lives. Now you can hear them live at Ravintola Metsähovissa as the Zen Café tribute band Vuokralainen takes the stage.
Hailing from Turku, Zen Café was one of the biggest Finnish bands of the early 2000s. Their albums topped the charts one after another, and the songs written by Samuli Putro about everyday life, love, and longing struck a chord right in the heart. Hailing from Joensuu, the band Vuokralainen offers a rare opportunity to experience these songs played by a live band once again.
Get ready for a warm and atmospheric evening filled with familiar choruses that are easy to sing along to. Come join in the singing and reminisce about what these songs have meant to you!

Few Finnish artists have sung their way as deeply into the nation's heart as Mikko Alatalo. In April, he takes the stage at Ravintola Metsähovi.
Alatalo began his career in the early 1970s alongside Juice Leskinen and Harri Rinne in the band Coitus Int, and he is recognized as one of the pioneers of Tampere rock (manserock). Ever since, he has been writing and performing songs across five decades. His music tells stories about the lives of northern people, love, family, and home. In addition, he has written hundreds of songs for other artists. "Känkkäränkkä", a childhood staple for multiple generations, is also his creation.
Alatalo is also known as a masterful storyteller. Audiences can look forward to a warm evening that is both humorous and touching. It will be easy to sing along to familiar songs, interspersed with stories from his long career.
Come experience a legend of Finnish song up close!
